Empty suggestions when using business location id in smart campaigns

Hi,

I am trying to obtain suggestions (keywords, headlines and descriptions) to create a Smart Campaign through the API. I am comparing the results obtained with the API to the ones showed in the Google Ads Manger UI. I realised that, usually, I have more suggestions in the UI than in the API.

In order to get more suggestions, I tried to use the “business location id” instead of just the “name”. But, although in the UI I get more results, the results obtained from the API don’t vary. I am using the “business location id” in the form “locations/{id}” and I have obtained it from my business directly from the Business Profile UI. No errors are shown when I do the call.

My questions are:

- Is possible to obtain the exact same suggestions that are shown in the UI?

- Can I use any business location id (if I have the number) or do I need to ask for special permissions?

For us to provide an accurate answer to your concern, could you please provide us the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end? In addition, could you please provide us with the full non-cropped and non-redacted screenshot of the UI report where we can see the difference between the API response and the UI for generating keywords?
