AdNetworkType1 and AdNetworkType2 returning empty results in CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

Hi,

I was using the CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT to pull campaign ids and their names. 

I added the fields AdNetworkType1 and AdNetworkType2 to my select statement.

For one Adwords account it successfully returns correct data, but for another it's returning empty results. If I remove the AdNetworkType fields, both accounts will successfully return data.

I'm just wondering if there was a reason for this. I can't see why both accounts wouldn't return data.

To better check the issue, could you send to me (reply privately to author) the report definition and request headers that returned the data successfully and that of which returned empty results?

Fields AdNetworkType1&2 are fields with segment behavior - you'll want to read up what these fields actually mean.
In a nutshell, those fields do NOT give you the network-setting of the campaign. Those fields give you the performance of the campaign on the network: with performance I mean performance-related fields like clicks, cost etc.
If you want the network setting of the campaign, look into AdvertisingChannelType and AdvertisingChannelSubType.
