CANNOT_OPERATE_ON_DELETED_ADGROUPAD

Hi ,

I done the following process:

1. Created Adgroups 

2. i deleted (removed) adgroup names as "Table" manually

3. Next i Added "Table" adgroup without product groups, but i can see the product groups that exist already ,

i am getting this error " CANNOT_OPERATE_ON_DELETED_ADGROUPAD "

Hi, one good way to avoid this problem is to change the name before the delete, put an extra random/unique number at the end of the adgroup name

Hi,

if we do as you said, we get the " clicks" ," conversion rate"   etc, for the old one

for example:

1. we have adgroup named " Tables" -> they have the date of " clicks",etc

2. As you said , we can rename it and make as "remove" ( Tables_2020),

3. Again we are adding adgroup named " Tables"

is we get the clicks and other data's as it is ?

Hi,

When you're running your API reports, you'll want to include the AdGroupId in the requested fields and use that as the key instead of the name. An ad group's ID will not change even when you rename the ad group.
