Hi Team,

We are using below Google Ads API .Net Library to create Image Extensions for our clients. We are using our Test Account to validate our changes and upload Image extensions from our .Net Project.

But, we are not able to see "Image Extensions" asset in google platform for our Test Account (PFA). Could you please let us know, how to enable Image Extensions for our Test Account.

FYI, We know about Requirements for Image assets. But, for testing purpose we need to enable and test image extensions for our Test account.

Thanks in Advance!!!

When I'm trying to Create Image Extensions at campaign level for Google Ads Client account. I'm getting "MUTATE_ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CLIENT" error from google platform. Please help me to enable Image Extensions for our Test Google Ads account.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Kindly note that extension setting services are deprecated and will be removed in an upcoming release. You should migrate to Assets as soon as possible.

On the other hand, you may also check this blog for more information on Image and Location Auto-Migrations in Google Ads API.

However, since your concern is about not being able to see the "Image Extensions" asset in Google Platform for your Test Account (PFA), could you please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id) generated on your end when creating this, so that we can further check this and provide appropriate recommendations to you?

Note that lgos can be requested or provided to the developer handling the Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been enabled. You may check here and click your client library for the specific guideline to enable it.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

Best regards,
