Matching function affiliate location extension

Hello,

I'd like to set a specific matching function of an existing customerFeed (Placeholdertype: AffiiliateLocation). The default value seems to be "IDENTITY(true)" (at least this value is set when the feed was created via the Google Ads UI) and I want to change it.

The documentation shows some examples and possible matching functions. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work.

I always get an unknown error ("the error code is not in this version") when I try a different matching function than "IDENTITY(true)". Even "IDENTITY(false)", which is stated as valid matching function for affiliate feeds (

) doesn't work.

It would be great if I could use a matching function targeting feedAttributes, similar to this guide: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/location-extensions/affiliate-location-extensions. The example matching function there doesn't work as well.

I'm currently using v6.

Do you have an idea, what could cause this error?

Thank you for reaching out and for the detailed description of your issue. So that our team may take a closer look, could you also provide the complete request and response logs, with the request-id, generated when the error occurred?

If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.

In addition, regarding the "the error code is not in this version" and since you mentioned using the v6, could you try as well to use the latest version instead?
