Google Ads API V2 - extension_feed_item does not return fields related to callouts and structured snippets

Hello,

The extension_feed_item report does not return any fields relating to callout and structured snippet ad extensions. I've attached example requests and responses - you can see that even though I've requested extension_feed_item.callout_feed_item.callout_text, extension_feed_item.structured_snippet_feed_item.header and extension_feed_item.structured_snippet_feed_item.values, the response payloads don't even include the fields.

Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround for this?

Hi Akil,

I was able to see values for these fields when I tried on my account. When I looked at your account, I saw these values as blank. You can try to query for sitelink fields to verify that there is no issue. I've attached a screenshot of your UI.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for getting back to me. I can verify that Sitelink fields give no issue (see attached request and response). Also, when I look at callouts and structured snippets in the "Business Data" view of the UI then the Text shows and the callouts and snippets also show fine when they actually serve with ads. It's just the association view in the UI and the API calls above where they don't work. Any idea what's going on?

Hi Akil,

Because it is appearing as blank in the UI as well, it may be a product level issue. Can you try creating a new snippet or callout, directly from the Extensions tab and see if that works?

Hi Anthony,

It looks like it's some issue with the callouts and snippets created via the API. Callouts created directly from the UI display fine in the UI and have their text value populated in API responses (see request and response attached).
