Is it possible to compress the data which is coming from the API?
Something like it was possible to download GZIPPED_CSV files in the old Adwords API?
I know that a binary format is used which should reduce the data-size, but true compression may be more effective.

Hello Alexander,

Since the report data returning as typed objects and no longer writing on the files. You have to handle it in your code to write them into files and compress the files programatically. I will let my team know regarding your concern and to have the code samples for this.

I am concerned about the amount of network traffic between Ads API and my App. Compressing files at my end would not help to reduce network traffic. Is there an option in the API or the client libraries to enable compression?

Hello Alexnder,

As of now there is no way to do that via our client libraries. I shared your concern with the team and I will update you on this thread when I have more information. Meanwhile you could keep an eye on our blog for information related to the future releases.
