Missing Parent Locations

The previous Adwords api returns a complete list of parent locations when requesting Geo Targets. The new Google Ads Api does not return a complete list and does not match the results from the Google Ads UI.  

How can we retrieve the full hierarchy of parent locations when migrating?

For example:

• A search for atqasuk returns the following under "Locations that include: Atqasuk, Alaska" and a query for the Atqasuk location id in the Adwords Api returns the same
  • North Slope, Alaska, United States (county)
  • Fairbanks AK (DMA Region)
  • Alaska (State)
  • Alaska's Congressional District (congressional district)
  • United States (country)
• A Query to the New GeoTargetConstant Suggestion service returns only
  • Alaska (State)
  • United States (Country)
• A query to the Google Ads Api Report Service returns only a single parent location
  • Alaska (State)

• XML format report definition in Adwords API.
•  Complete request and response logs with request ID and request header in Google Ads API that generated on your end.
• Ads UI screenshot when the Google Ads API does not return a complete list and does not match the results.
• Sample comparison where we can see data discrepancies.
