The OAuth client was deleted error

Hello team, 

I tried testing the Google Ads API with the code snippet provided in official documentation of Google Ads API but I consistently receiving an error message which says "google.auth.exceptions.RefreshError: ('deleted_client: The OAuth client was deleted.', {'error': 'deleted_client', 'error_description': 'The OAuth client was deleted.'})". Could you please help us with this.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you are getting a deleted_client error. This error indicates that the OAuth client was deleted. This might be because the developer didn’t properly register their app with Google. I would suggest you check Troubleshoot Sign in with the Google help center article for the troubleshooting steps which can be followed when you have sign-in issues.

I would suggest to re-generate the OAuth credentials (client ID and secret) if possible. After regenerating those credentials, generate a new refresh token and retry your API request. Additionally you can refer to the Set up a Google API Console project documentation for more information.
