Hello community,

I'm currently working with the Google Ads API in version 13 and I'm looking for guidance on how to send events using the REST API. I've explored the documentation, but I'm still unsure about the exact steps and payload structure required for sending events.

Specifically, I'd like to know:

  1. What is the correct endpoint to use for uploading events in version 13 of the Google Ads API?
  2. What are the required headers and authentication details to include in the API request?
  3. How should the request payload be structured for different types of events, such as page views or conversions?
  4. Are there any specific considerations or limitations I should be aware of when sending events through the REST API?

I would greatly appreciate any insights, code examples, or references to relevant documentation that can help me understand and implement event tracking in the Google Ads API.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Best regards, Abubakar

Hi Abubakar,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team. I hope that you are doing well today.

Before we answer your concerns, could you please provide us more context about the events that you are trying to send using Google Ads API? Could you please provide us a full non-cropped and non-redacted screenshot of the UI where we can see the process of sending events via UI? We asked this because the Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. If this events that you are referring to is not available in the UI, it is more likely that it is also not possible in the API.

You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.
