Hi,
Recently we've got some exceptions from CustomerService through AdWords API. This only happens for one customer, and here is the exception content.
System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException: The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'. The authentication header received from the server was 'OAuth realm="https://accounts.google.com/OAuthGetRequestToken"'.
What could be the reason of such error? Thanks!
Best,
Dongqi

Hi Dongqi,
Thank you for reaching out. Can you please share the complete detailed request and response logs for the call via Reply privately to author so I can further investigate the issue? You can find information on enabling logging in the ReadMe of your client library.
Regards,
Mitchell

Hi Mitchell,
Thanks for your reply.
In consideration of the huge volume of the log, we don't enable it currently. Is there any other way to get any clue?
I've just provided some information about one request that has such error through private reply.
Thank you!
Best,
Dongqi

Hi Dongqi,
This looks to be an issue related to the client library, not the API. I would recommend posting the issue to the GitHub Issues tab of your client library. Their team will be more equipped to assist you.

Hi Mitchell
The client library hasn't been updated for more than two years, the API call were running file last week and only start to fail recently. Wondering if there is any change from the server side?
Thansk
Caihua.

Hi Caihua,
The error you received was not an API error, but an error with the language. This is why I recommended posting on the GitHub. My team only deals with API related issues. No changes were made from our end.
