API / web service call to add customers to customer list

I would like to add customers to a customer list in real time when certain events happen in my CRM using an iPaaS.  This article explains how to upload a list manually: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6276125?hl=en&ref_topic=6296507

Does anybody know which API / web service call I can use to automate?

I think you are attempting to do something similar to myself,  although I have hit a brick wall at the moment,  I have successfully created a list following the example on this page.
