search impression share returns 0 when requested with segment network

Hi there,

When requesting impression share metrics along with segment network, the impression share metrics return 0. Removing the segment, they do return data.

Request body without network:

Can you please confirm if you are using version v9 of Google Ads API? If yes and you are still experiencing issues, please provide the complete request and response logs with request ID or send us a screenshot where you have encountered that issue. The issue still occurs with v9, so sent a response privately with request/response info.

Confirming that we also experience the same problem. The data from the Google Ads differs from the Google UI regarding search_impression_share from the keyword_view.

Hi Tiana,

Thank you for providing the logs privately. 

Upon checking, the 14540199277 campaign appears to be a Shopping Campaign. That being said, including the segments.ad_network_type = "SEARCH" filter would not be appropriate since the ads should serve more in the MIXED network type.

However, I too observed that the searchImpressionShare is indeed not being returned when the segments.ad_network_type is included whether in the SELECT or in the WHERE clause.

That said, allow me to raise this to the rest of our team for further insight and so we can investigate further. Well reach back to you once we have more details.

I got an answer back on this. We do not support MIXED ad network type at this time for Impression Share. So, this is working as intended.
