DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

I have generated the Refresh token and access token. By running generate_refresh_token.py file, But when i run the create_adwords_client_without _yaml.py file 

It's giving the following error.

suds.WebFault: Server raised fault: '[QuotaCheckError.DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED @ ; trigger:'<null>']'

Please help me out.

You need an approved developer token to access production accounts. See:

Same happened to me and i have a developer token (it doesn't say anywhere if it is approved or not, how can i know?)

Hi Nicolas,

The DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error occurs when you are using an unapproved token to make API calls against a production account. Developer token with Test access can only be used to make calls against Test accounts.

You will need to get at least a basic access token to make requests in a production environment. To check your token status, login to the manager account, click on the gear icon on the top right corner, select Account Settings from the drop-down menu, and click on AdWords API Center on the left side panel. You can see your developer token as well as the access level associated with it. You can also apply for Basic access from this page.
