API changes for EU Political ads Regulation

Hope you’re doing well!

This is regarding the EU Political Regulations update and the corresponding changes needed in the Google Ads API and Scripts: https://ads-developers.googleblog.com/2025/08/eu-par-google-ads-api-scripts.html
The change must be implemented by September 3, 2025. However, we’re unclear on:

1. Which actions will be impacted (e.g., campaign creation) and what might fail if contains_eu_political_advertising is not set.
2. Whether this information can be retrieved for an account via the API.
3. How can users flag this setting in the Google Ads UI?
   
4. What happens if we assign False to the flag while submitting the change?

Could you help clarify these points?
