Hi,
AWAITING_FILE status for the BatchJob is the state you come to after create the BatchJob and capture its uploadUrl from the mutate() response. This link here will provide you this the remaining steps required to start executing your BatchJob operations. Please keep in mind that BatchJob will only start executing once you have uploaded the last set of operations. Let me know if you have any trouble.
