Good day,

I am currently working on smart campaigns and was trying to update an Ad's headline using .NET library. I got an error saying that the headline field cannot be modified by 'UPDATE' operation. I also tried updating the TextAsset directly but got the same error.

Is there any way to update the ads through GoogleAds API? I've noticed that this is allowed in GoogleAds UI.

With regard to your concern, It seems you have encountered a problem in "Update ads through Google Ads API". I would recommend that you refer to this Mutate Ads document for the example on how to update your ads. Also we recommend that you use this AdService for mutating ads.

Also, could you provide more details on the "I also tried updating the TextAsset directly but got the same error" concern? So our team can better check on this, could you please provide the the complete API logs (request and response with request-id) to further investigation?
