Adwords Api Support for Call-only Campaigns

Heya everyone, adwords just launched an awesome feature called  'Call-only' Campaigns. As of now users can create Call only campaigns only using the Google Adwords interface only, is there any way we can create the same using adwords api ?

As of current adwords documentation (v201409) i cannot see any reference to call-only campaigns. Your advice on this will be much appreciated

To use this feature via the API, you will be making CallOnlyAds.

Hi Michael,

We don't have the API setup... never been able to figure it out, but I have done fairly well with scripting.  Is that available in Adwords Scripts too?

Hi Sanjay,

You can use the AdGroupAdService to create CallOnlyAd. Please refer to this sample code in Java which creates ExpandedTextAds. For other programming languages, please refer here. You can use the same as reference to create CallOnlyAds. However, please note that mutate capability via AdService is not available for CallOnlyAd. Currently, targeting for feature phones is not available via API. Only the platforms available here can be targeted.
