The metrics for new listing group

Hi Support Teams,

Product Groups are nodes pointing at a series of products from Merchant Center, for example I have listing_group_id points to product A, B and C in level 1. But in the future, we can have a new Sub listing_group_id (add new filter criteria in level 2) that create new sub Product group contains only B and C. My first question is whether we have reporting for new sub product group in the past or the metrics only start at the time of initialization ?

Hi, 

I am on it, I am trying to create performance max reporting from google ads api, and this question related the data behavior store in from google side. When I create a new sub listing group id, how Google Ads API organize and return data.  

In my point of view, I think there are 2 options, I have attached the image below for clarifying:

- option 1: googleAds api will update data on all timestamp.

- option 2: googleAds api just store 1 new raw at the time of new sub listing group initialization .

I want to know this behavior for choosing the right solution for store data from my side that can be most synchronized with google side. Hope to hear from your soon. Thanks.

Can you confirm if you are utilizing "Creating Shopping Listing Groups"? Kindly also provide the complete request and response logs with request id and request header generated on your end along with the uncropped screenshots of the data you want to retrieve in UI.

Note that these logs can be requested or provided to the developer handling the Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been enabled. You may check in the client library logging documentation and click your client library for the specific guideline to enable it.

For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP response headers in the output.

Can you expand more what you meant by updating data on all timestamp or storing 1 new raw at the time of new sub listing group initialization? Did you mean here if you create a new one? Asking this so we can provide precise guidance to your concern.
