Adding Ad schedules for Performance Max Campaigns returning error

Hi,
As per doc Performance Max campaign support AD_SCHEDULE campaign criteria. 
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/performance-max/create-campaign-criteria

But when I try to create ad schedules using API: I am getting Mutate Error.
With Error Message: "Message": "Mutates are not allowed for the requested resource."
Could you confirm if Adding Campaign Criteria for Pmax campaigns is supported through API or not?

In addition to my previous email, I could confirm that it should be possible to create campaign AD_SCHEDULE criteria for the performance max campaign as mentioned in the documentation you have provided. With this, please provide the requested information in order for us to further investigate the issue.
