How to Download Custom Report with Modified Compare Dates

Hi,

Good day. I've 2 questions:

• I know how to download a pre-defined report. But I am not sure if we can download a custom report via API (Refer attached ps_01.png). I've created a report via UI as shown in print screen. Doesn't seems like it fits with any report type listed by Adwords. I have added Level of Detail -> Account  as the row of the report (Refer attached ps_02.png), but not sure if I can assume the report type becomes Account Performance Report?
• Even there is an API that can download the custom report, from Adwords sample codes, I couldn't find a method to set the compare dates, just like what I can do in UI (Refer attached ps_03.png).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

The custom reports are not supported by AdWords API at the moment. To get the stats aggregated at the account level, you will have to use the Account Performance Report. Also, using the API you can only download the reports from a client account and not an MCC account. To compare the stats during two date ranges, you might have to download two reports with the same report definition and derive the change and %change during the date ranges.
