peI downloaded Keyword Performance Report and Keyword Metadata report using Google API Feed.
I wanted to see if all the metadata that exists on the Keyword Metadata report also exists on the Keyword Performance Report.

Analysis Strategy:
Find the Unique Key combination where no two rows are not same in Keyword Metadata. I found the unique key is a combination of Customer ID, Campaign ID, Ad Group ID,
Keyword ID, Network(with search Partners), Device, Click Type.
Since Match Type is itself based on the Keyword itself, matchtype is not the part of unique key. I also found the same after adding matchtype and removing matchtype has no influence.

Analysis
I wanted to check if all the distinct combination of columns in KPR(Keyword Performance Report) exists in KMR(Keyword Metadata Report).
I only used the following columns :::::::Customer ID, Campaign ID, Ad Group ID, Keyword ID, Network(with search Partners), Device, Click Type

Result;
I found 16 rows to be different. I found there were two keywords on different devices does not have clicktype in Keyword Metadata report.

QUESTION:
a) Does all the metadata provided on the Keyword metadata report should match to Keyword Performance Report?
b) If it should not, then what is the reason behind it?
c) If it should match, then what could be the possible reasons for this issue?
d) If it never happens and it should always match, do you think I should open a google Adwords support incident?

thanks
AD

Hi,

You mentioned the Keyword Metadata Report, but there's no such report in the AdWords API. Is this a report you're running via the AdWords UI?

Thanks,
