Recently I have been running into several account limit errors related to ad group feeds. The specific account limit is "250,000 ad group-level extensions per account" however this was puzzling as I have far fewer than 250k ad groups in my account.  After some investigation, it was discovered that there were thousands of ad group feeds related to previously run drafts and experiments which were counting against this account limit.  These 'ghost' ad group feeds still existed even though the experiment they belong to had been ended for months. I was able to clean up these ad group feeds via the AdGroupFeedService, however it took a very long time to diagnose and track down why we were surpassing the account limits in the first place. If this is a bug, it would be nice if it was patched in future versions; if not, hopefully this post will serve as a public service announcement to those experiencing a similar problem.

Hi Jared,

Thanks for bringing this up. Please take note that only the "removed items" are not counted towards the account limits. Meaning, everything that is not removed in your account will be counted against the entity limit.

However, since the account limits are more on the product level, then I recommend you to post this in the AdWords Community Forum as this concern is not specific to AdWords API. Their team can better provide you assistance regarding this matter.

Thanks,
Vincent
