Business data, data feed status

Hi,

I am currently working with the Google Ads API and looking for a way to retrieve the status of business data feeds, as shown in the Google Ads UI under Tools > Business data. In the UI, I can see statuses such as Pending or Misconfigured, but when querying the API via the asset_set resource, I can only receive statuses like Enabled or Removed.

I am able to retrieve the status of individual data feed items using the feed_item resource with the policy_infos parameter or the asset resource with the policy_summary parameter. However, to fully determine the state of a data feed, I would also need information about the Upload history, which is available in the UI under Tools > Business data > Upload history or within a specific feed’s details.

Could you please advise if there is a way to retrieve this upload history or a more detailed feed status via the API?

• Yes, it is true that the asset_set.status from the asset_set resource only returns either of these status - 'ENABLED', 'REMOVED', 'UNKNOWN', 'UNSPECIFIED'. The Google Ads API doesn't support retrieving the detailed status as seen in the UI.

• The Google Ads API doesn't have a feature that can help you fetch this data. However, if you'd like, I can submit a feature request on your behalf to add this functionality. To proceed, I would need the following information:
  • A description of the desired feature
  • And your specific business objective for the feature
  • Also, the impact that adding the feature would have on your adoption of the API
