Creating Shopping Ads via Python Ads API

Hello everyone!

I'm currently working on a script to create multiple Shopping Ads Campaigns, each of which contains multiple Ad groups, ads and product groups.

I'm using the "new" Ads API and got stuck creating product groups. This article (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/shopping-ads/create-listing-groups) has great explanations but the code example is only for java. 

My questions are:

Is it possible to create shopping ads listing groups via API using python?

Is there a code example I simply can't find or is it still in the making for python?

Is this code example from the "old" Adwords API still usable? (https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/samples/python/shopping-campaigns)

Hi Nikolai,

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, there is no sample code to create shopping ads listing groups for python client library in Google Ads API. The alternative way to do it is to use the Adwords API sample code for python client library to create the product groups.
