Cannot found field from adwords api in google ads api

Hello,

I am migrating some processes form adwords API to Google Ads API. I have encountered a problem with a field that I was requesting through Adwrods API.

I am able to request "IsPathExcluded" from "URL_PERFORMANCE_REPORT" to know (ad adwrods docu says) "if the URL or placement is currently excluded"

But I see that the equivalent report in google ads api is "detail_placement_view" and I cannot find a field that gives me the info whether the placement is excluded or not. Neither in segments nor in the "group_placement_view" and "managed_placement_view" report.

Is the anyway to get this info? Is the any other report in google ads api more equivalent to "URL_PERFORMANCE_REPORT" from adwords?

Hi Ivan,

Thank you for raising this concern to Google Ads API team.

As you mentioned, the equivalent URL_PERFORMANCE_REPORT is detail_placement_view. Moving forward to your concern, "I cannot find a field that gives me the info whether the placement is excluded or not", you can only use managed_placement_view  to know if the placements are negative since that is the report about the targeted or excluded placement. With that, please do include the ad_group_criterion.negative field to the managed_placement_view for you to know if each of the placements are targeted or excluded.

Ok, but how can I get the relationship between a placement form de detail_placement_view and the managed_placement_view if in the second one the only one field is the resource name?

I need to do a request to detail_placement_view and then get the info about if it is excluded or not for the managed_placement_view. The resource_name form detail_placement_view will coincide with the resource name from managed_placement_view?

Hi Ivan,

The managed_placement_view has the attributed resource, ad_group_criterion, which supports ad_group_criterion.placement.url. Can you use this in conjunction with detail_placement_view.target_url?
