search_term_view report is empty while we see data in UI

Hi Google Ads API team!

I pull data with search_term_view report.

It comes empty for one of accounts we serve, while there is data in google Ads UI shown.

Could you please help me to understand this discrepancy, may be there is some limitations?

That will be great, Oksana. Let us investigate the issue why is it that you are unable to pull any data when you are trying to execute a search_term_view report. Could you please provide us the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end? You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com. If you haven't enabled the logging yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link. Add to that, please provide also the full screenshot of the Ui of the search term view.

Hi Oksana,

Thank you for providing the requested details. I am also a member of the Google Ads API team and let me provide support to your concern.

Upon checking, I can see that the search team you want to get is for dynamic search ads. With this, the appropriate report that you need to use is the dynamic_search_ads_search_term_view instead not search_term_view.

Let me know how it goes after trying the provided suggestion.

Do I understand correct that dynamic_search_ads_search_term_view is correspondent to KEYWORDLESS_QUERY_REPORT in deprecated Google Adwords API? 

I see  dynamic_search_ads_search_term_view, paid_organic_search_term_view, smart_campaign_search_term_view reports, do they all return data we can see in Search Terms tab in Google Ads UI? 

And vice versa, is there a single API report which can show the same data as in Search Terms tab in Google Ads UI or we need to use multiple API reports to get complete data?
