Hey,

I saw that CATEGORY_PRODUCTS_AND_SERVICES is deprecated. Is it still that way or do we already have an alternative for this?

Hi Steven,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

It appears that the CATEGORY_PRODUCTS_AND_SERVICES from AdWords API was an equivalent of getting targeting ideas in the Google Ads API. As per this document, kindly note that the Google Ads UI no longer supports product and services categories for keyword recommendations. As a result, this feature is not available in the Google Ads API. You can try adding a keyword seed containing a product, service category, or related term as an alternative.

As a side note, you may see this page for supported KeywordPlanHistoricalMetrics. Let us know if you have any questions.
