API Reports

Hello,
We are having issue with the usage of the Google Ads API. We are trying to get report on daily basis to use for structuring & analyzing data and statistics of ad reports, but from the documentations and API resources; there is no resource endpoint to fetch report data segmented across days. Rather, I can specify date range and it only returns the sum of the results only, with no extra data of what happened between the days.

Currently, what we do is sending request to the API for each day, (i.e. Iterating over number of days, say 30 days; means 30 iterations) which is resource and time consuming as this would spike the resource usage and also delay the response the longer the days difference.

We are requesting the endpoint to get this type of data, please point us to right direction if we are missing something or let us know a viable solution.

Hi Neil,

Thank you for reaching out. With regards to your concern, you could segment the reports using segments.month in Google Ads API instead of sending request to the API for each day. This will give you the data and statistics for ad reports for entire month starting the first day of a month. Let us know if you need additional information.
