Before we can provide more context on the following questions you have, could you confirm if you are using Google Ads API? 

Yes!  we are currently using Google Ads API! Our API Access level is Standard, currently we can use the API to create an account, and authorize the user to be an administrator, but we would like to do like other SaaS company ex: Clever and Adzooma, after the user clicks on the invitation letter, he can directly lead user to the bill setting page.

If yes, please provide more details or full context regarding issues that have been encountered from our Google Ads API or elaborate more on how we can help?

Let me explain the process of what we want our Saas service to do and what we have been encountered from our Google Ads API

Step 1 Create a new Google Ads account

Step 2 Log in to your Google account

Step 3 Enter the ad account name, currency, time zone

Step 4 The user goes to the mailbox to accept the invitation letter

Step 5 After the user clicks "accept an invitation", it will be directed to the Google Ads billing setting page, allowing the user to set and confirm the payment infomation

At present, we are stuck on the step 5.

The following is our actual situation

Our system also sends invitations (Access Level: administrator) to users, but after user receiving the invitation and clicking to accept the invitation, it will direct to the Overview page instead of being directly directed to the billing/payment setting page like Adzooma, so we would like to know how we can do like Adzooma?

I've checked our developer guide (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/start), and I'm afraid that there's seems to be no method that could provide the direct link to Google Ads Account billing setup page. With that, allow me to share this to the team to get their insight as well. I'll update this thread the soonest I hear back from them.

Hi Vanessa, 

I'm a developer relations engineer jumping in to help with this issue.

This workflow is only available to users who are allowlisted to use it. Does your company happen to have an Account Manager at Google? Typically they would help with this implementation.

If not I can see what tools we have at our disposal to help here, but wanted to clarify whether you have an Account Manager first.

Hello Ben and all Google Ads API Team,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your reply! And we would like to ask for your continued help so that we can achieve the SaaS system that we want to complete.

We are a team who have worked as Google agents for nearly 10 years. We are familiar with ads, ad data analysis, and understand the obstacles that customers may encounter when placing ads. However, in the agency environment, we are unable to help advertising clients more efficiently. Therefore, we left the agency and want to develop a SaaS system that allows users to easily place good ads without any advertising knowledge or background. The Google agency company where we previously worked had an Account Manager at Google, and with their help, we had access to the Google Ad API. This is also why we want to further develop our product to help those who want to place ads but don't know where to start. However, after leaving the previous agency company, the new company we have established does not have an Account Manager at Google.

I would sincerely request your assistance to help us.

I'm asking around for more details on the implementation of this workflow. In the meantime, can you confirm whether any of your accounts have been allowlisted for this workflow? In order to implement this workflow you need to be able to set the email_address field CreateCustomerClientRequest message, and then use the invitation_link in the response to redirect the user. Being allowlisted for this flow requires an account manager, but if you have an allowlisted account I can try to work through the implementation details with you.
