Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads API Support.

With regards to your concern, I can see that you encountered the OPERATION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CONTEXT error. This means that the operation is not allowed for the given context. Upon checking, I can see that you are trying to mutate the campaign budget. Please note that creating a campaign budget should be done on a client account only and not on a manager account.

If you're still encountering the error on a client account, please provide the complete request and response logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective links so we can take a closer look and assist you.

Where can I find a customer account?

How do I distinguish between an manager account and a client account?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Please note that a Manager account has an API CENTER, you may check if your account has an API CENTER by navigating through the Google Ads UI Top right corner > Tools and Settings > API CENTER. If it does not have an API CENTER then the account is a client account.

For additional questions on the difference between these types of accounts, I would recommend contacting the Google Ads Product Support for further assistance as they can assist you more appropriately with issues/inquiries related to the UI.
