What are cool ways to use the Ads API to do things you can't do in the Ads UI

We're working on a blog post for Optmyzr about ways to use the Ads API to solve problems that can't easily be solved in the Ads UI. If you have used the API in such a way and are willing to share, we'd love to quote you for our article!

For example, we use the API (and also scripts) to build a multi-date range analysis that identifies campaigns where performance has declined 4 weeks in a row. This would be very difficult to do in the Ads UI directly.
