API for Whatsapp

Hello every one ,
i am a newbie on API , 
now i have a case for my study on my college , i need to make WHATSAPP Android Apllication to be an endpoint for a broadcast gateway message , is it possible?
because , as i know the API from the WHATSAPP is secure and not available?
i need some advice and suggestion from you for my project ,
