Get the Previous Search volume in Keyword planning

I'm trying to get the monthly Search Volume of the keyword by using AdWords API.

I can get the Keyword Estimate but I could not find the old monthly data.

Where can I get the data in the API?

Thanks for reaching out. With regards to your concern about the monthly Search Volume of the keyword by using AdWords API, you can pull those values from the API by following this guide and using the TargetingIdeaService. Please see here for the available requestedAttributeTypes.

To retrieve the monthly search volume data for specific keyword via API, you need to pass the search query (keyword) and the RequestType must be set to STATS to request the historical stats of a specific keyword. Please refer to this guide for more details and code samples. You could retrieve the historical statistics for keywords (Monthly Search Volume, etc.) to help you decide whether to use these keyword ideas or not.
