Verification problems

Hello,
We have an application which makes exstensive usage of Adwords API reporting. Out of nowhere, around the 1st/2nd of Feburary, all our request started failing. We recieved no error codes back, the requests simply timed out - this included all our requests for Google Customer match. Upon trying to refresh our token, we were notified that our app was no longer verified.

The lack of errors has made it extremely hard to fix this problem. In the OAuth playground we only recieved bad request responses. What can we do to fix this?

Hello Yasar,

Thanks for your response. This has proven to be quite a complicated issue, so let me try to explain it in a timeline:

(1st of Feb) – All our calls to the Google Customer Match endpoint time out. They are automated, so this was not immediately noticed.

(4th of Feb) – We notice the failed calls. They all appear as time-outs, and return nothing – no errors, no response whatsoever. We notice that the problem might have something to do with the credential we used in the call and try to delete and renew it. We have had plenty of successful calls as well, and now the exact same calls were timing out seemingly without any reason.

(5th of Feb) – We tried a number of fixes, none of which worked. The forum post is made and we keep having the same problems. Again, no error codes come back, the CM requests simply time out.

(6th of Feb) – A number of our calls now seem to be succeeding, again, without changing anything on our end.

Is there anything more we can do to find out what went wrong? Did something happen on your end in this timespan that could have something to do with these issues?

Just to cover all the bases, I want to check things in two areas. Could you please click on the 3 dots in the forum next to this message and then choose 'Reply to author'? Then, provide the project ID where you were experiencing issues, and a sample request from your logs where you were having issues. Please make sure that you don't post these on the forum.
