AD_EXTENSIONS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

Hi Adword Team,

We don't get the report of sitelink extension, callout extension,  call extension etc.  We are using "AD_EXTENSIONS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT" report type. But it returns only the header information only. Which report type can be used for getting the result of sitelink, call or callout extension.

Hi Sandeep,

Please use PLACEHOLDER_FEED_ITEM_REPORT for retrieving information about sitelink extension and call extension.

CALL_METRICS_CALL_DETAILS REPORT can be used if you need to get detailed information about call extension.

It is working well. Now  we want to remove the ad extensions like sitelink, call extension, callout extension etc.

How can we remove these extensions?

Hello Sandeep,

All of these extensions can be removed using the CampaignExtensionSettingsService. Check out the example on updating an ad extension. That example can be modified to use Operator.REMOVE instead of Operator.SET.

We are attempting to use the PLACEHOLDER_FEED_ITEM_REPORT to manage callouts, but are unable to pull down zero-impression callouts. After consulting the documentation for the proper fields to request, we are still unable to get results back on the report. What is an acceptable combination of fields and request settings to use in order to see all callouts, including zero-impression callouts in the PLACEHOLDER_FEED_ITEM_REPORT report?

Hello,

In the PLACEHOLDER_FEED_ITEM_REPORT documentation, you'll see a description for each field called Supports Zero Impressions. If you only pick fields with that value set to true, and you set includeZeroImpressions to true in the report definition, then you will be able to retrieve zero-impression results. For example, selecting FeedId, FeedItemId, AttributeValues, and Status with includeZeroImpressions set to true would work.

Hi Nadine,

Thanks for your response. As it looks like we are not going to be able to get AdGroupId, AccountId, and CampaignId from this report for callouts with zero impressions, I'd like to request that be supported in a future release. We will use API calls for now.
