Availability check question

Hi all!

Could you please help us with the following questions that are connected with availability check and frequency capping functionality for line items:
  
1. We have Line Item in Status PAUSED with Quantity 1000 impressions, start date: 7/2/15, end date - 8/2/15. 
When we check inventory availability for this Line Item, we get different results every time on clicking on check inventory button.
Why so happens? How system calculates availability checks results?

2. How availability check takes into account frequency capping?  How system calculates availability checks results if we set frequency capping (for example: 1 impression per 1 DAY)?
