Migration from AdwordsAPI to Google Ads API

Hello,

Right now we are using AdwordsAPI and we want to migrate to Google Ads API
The project were we use this has symfony 4.0, php7.2.29 and we use the php library googleads-php-lib v38.

1) To use the Google Ads APi do we need to use this php library google-ads-php?
2) If we need to use google-ads-php library is ok to use the version compatible with php 7.2 (google-ads-php v6.1) ?
3) or we need to use the latest version google-ads-php with php 7.4? 
4) Or we can still use googleads-php-lib but with a new version for Google Ads API ? or we cannot use  googleads-php-lib anymore for Google Ads API?

Please see my response below for your questions:

-For the 3 questions above, the client library that you can use is github.com/googleads/google-ads-php and the library is now supporting the PHP version 7.3 or greater.

4) Or we can still use googleads-php-lib but with a new version for Google Ads API ? or we cannot use  googleads-php-lib anymore for Google Ads API?

You may refer to this document ​​as it illustrates how to migrate from the AdWords API to the Google Ads API in a step-by-step manner.

Furthermore, since your concern is PHP client library related and if you have further questions here, I would suggest reaching out to the author of the client library via this link as they are more equipped to this topic.
