Hi,

I got an email saying that Google+ OAuth scope requests are being deprecated: https://developers.google.com/+/api-shutdown
and that I'm using the plus.me Product Scope for my AdWords API requests.

I don't believe I'm explicitly asking for that scope, but it's getting automatically added when I request tokens.

When I request the following scopes:

"scope=https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/ https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email"

I get the following scopes in the reply:

"scope":"openid email profile https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords https://www.googleapis.com/auth/plus.me https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile"

which includes the soon-to-be deprecated scope.

Is there any guidance on how to deprecate this usage? I don't believe I'm using plus.* scopes anywhere else.

Best,

Kevin

I am also using same thing and I am also warned for same.

I am using oAuth scope for Google OAuth2 API v2 scope "https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email" which I can see same notice.

Any help would be useful.

Thanks,

Hi Kevin,

My apologies as we can only provide support to issues/concerns that are specific to AdWords API. As this seems specific to Google+ API, I would recommend that you post your concern in this link instead as they are more equipped in assisting you on this.

Best regards,
