MCC Account Report workarounds/alternatives?

Hi,

I'm a newbie when it comes to the adwords API, nonetheless I have come to the conclusion that indeed it is not possible to create a report for MCC account level (although I haven't found resources post 2014 confirming this, I'm just guessing it's still the case).

Seeing as getting a report is so much faster than going through one of the services (according to my colleague), and all I really want to do is get a list of accounts (name, id), is there a workaround? Or a solution I'm missing?

Hi Evita,

Unfortunately, there is no way to get a list of accounts via the API other than using the ManagedCustomerService. 

Please refer to this example in java for more information (same example is available in other language libraries too). Please ensure that you set the clientCustomerId in your ads.properties as the MCC account ID.

Also, you can check out this example to download reports for multiple client accounts from a manager account.
