Ads API - Ad Group Ad Asset View Not Return Any Result in Display Ads

Hello, 

I'm having trouble pulling metrics for assets from ad groups served from the DISPLAY channel. Do you think I should use a different service? Where could I be going wrong?

What I exactly want to do is to be able to pull the metric data of the related ad's assets (headline, description or image) in the ad group.

SELECT 

  metrics.clicks

If you are looking to pull the metrics data for Responsive display ad using ad_group_ad_asset_view, then you may note that this report does not support pulling responsive display ads related assets data. For your question on the service to pull the reports, you may need to use GoogleAdsService.

If you are not looking to pull Responsive display ad, then for us to provide the accurate report that you are trying to pull using Google Ads API, Could you please provide us with a screenshot of the whole Ads UI where we can see metric data of the related ad's assets (headline, description or image) in the ad group.in the Ads UI? Please provide a screenshot without cropping, and CID can be seen clearly via reply privately to author option.
