What if i add an invalid email address to UserList?

What will be result of the ADD operation when i am trying to add InValid(non-existing) email address like te...@gmail.com or abc...@gmail.com to CRMUserList using Adwords API?

Hi Mounica,

The emails added will still be subject for review. Kindly make sure also that the caveats are met in order to avoid any issues in adding CrmBasedUserList.

Hi Peter,

You mean to say, Adwords API will throw any error, and while actually adding the users to UserList, AdWords will validate the each and ever email address and if valid then only add to UserList?

Hi Mounica,

If you include invalid email addresses in the request to AdWordsUserListService, the API will not throw any errors. Any changes you make to an UserList will be submitted for review and the list will be updated once the review has completed. I'm afraid the issue of how AdWords validates these email addresses is not in our scope. You can post this query in the AdWords Community Forum as they are better equipped to address this.
