Affinity Audience Targeting with Google Ads API

Hi,

I've been exploring your affinity categories documentation

but couldn't find details on targeting affinity audiences like "Banking & Finance" via the Google Ads API. Could you confirm if the API supports this targeting? If yes, could you guide me on implementing it effectively?

I would like to inform you that the Google Ads API does not currently support targeting the specific affinity audience "Banking & Finance." While the documentation lists a wide range of affinity categories, it does not include this particular segment.

Kindly note that you can manage affinity audiences using the CampaignCriterionService. I would recommend you to kindly refer to the campaign and ad group criteria reference page for more information on using CustomAffinityInfo and UserInterestInfo (these are the criterion you must specify in your campaign criterion operation). At the moment, the Google Ads API documentation currently does not have a code sample for managing affinity audiences, although there is a sample for using custom audiences, which is the migration from affinity and interest audiences.
