Unable to query newly created "Display ad feed (Custom)" using Search

Hi,

I am unable to look up a feed I created from Ads Manager Console. Its a "Dynamic Ad feed (Custom)". Here is the query I am using -

    query = f"""
        SELECT feed.id, feed.name, feed.status, feed.resource_name
        FROM feed
        # WHERE customer.id = '{account}'
        """

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Is it the case that any feed I newly create is treated as "AssetSet" and not a "Feed" and cannot be queried using the feed API?

I can see the feed in the UI.

Moving forward to your concern, let me give information in our Google Ads API perspective about "AssetSet" and "Feed".

In Dynamic Remarketing full documentation and guidelines, we have the following:

Asset-Based Dynamic Remarketing, where a user from the list sees an ad, the content for the ad is dynamically rendered from the underlying AssetSet.
Feed-Based Dynamic Remarketing, while with this you could use the API to create Feed, FeedMapping, and FeedItem objects for use with your dynamic remarketing ads.

Use this Google Ads Query Builder of feed or asset_set to freely see here the selectable fields in the “Choose a Clause to Select From” section.

Please note that Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Meaning by using the Google Ads API, you can get and manage the data that you are seeing in the UI.

If there is a discrepancy between what is available via the UI and what is available via the API then could you send us a 'DEBUG' log level request and response log of raw API communications showing this discrepancy, combined with the UI report that is different?

The request and response appears similar to the JSON Mappings in our REST documentation with additional headers and information such as request Id. Here are logging instructions for our Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby and Perl Ads API Client Libraries.

If you are using our REST interface then the full multi line curl command line is a request log and adding curl command line option '-i' will also generate a response log.
