We are facing issues wherein batchjobs added to the Test Accounts are not getting completed. They stay in AWAITING_FILE state infinitely. We tried sending the same payload again via new batchjobs, 2 of which got done, remaining again hung up in AWAITING_FILE state. Not sure whats going on..

Let me know if what information do you need from my end which can help you debug it?

Same problem here ... BatchJobs are not completing. Upload via  php client library (latest release), but state never changes until we finally give up waiting. All Jobs remaing in state AWAITING_FILE infinitely

Ok thank you for your answer.

To make it work again, should I :
- roll back to v201509 ?
- roll back my .NET client library (I'm on the 18.22) ?
- both ?

Thank you
Clément

Same here. I've rollbacked to 201509 and rollbacked my .NET client to the 2015/12/22. Job status is done but both error list and results are null.

BatchJob failing randomly. Couple of batchjobs prematurely finished with the status "CANCELLED" (   :api_error_type=>"BatchJobProcessingError", :reason=>"UNKNOWN"). The job was midway. Why is this happening? How do we ensure this doesn't happen

Kiran Narasareddy

Hello,

Could you provide the failed job Id for which you received status "CANCELLED" and reason=>"UNKNOWN"? Just click Reply privately to author in the forum when responding.

Hi Umesh,
unfortunately we still experience the same AWAITING_FILE infinite loop for the BatchJobService described before your fix announcement on Feb 23.
Is this connected to the new "CANCELLED"-problem the adwords team is working or a seperate problem?

Many thanks in advance for your help
Regards,
Stefan

PS: Without exception ALL of our BatchJobService requests result in the same AWAITING_FILE loop.
For further investigation an example job id is 40851864, an example requestid f.e. 00052fcd82dc50580a0deb90ad088729. Please tell me if you need more data.

Hello Stefan,

Thanks for reporting this.
Your information should be enough.
I'll talk to the engineer team to see what happened. Currently, we're not sure if the problem is the same.

Cheers,

Hello Stefan,

Have you ever uploaded any jobs yet?
We can't find any evidence that you've done so.
If you really did upload any file, could you please give us the requestId of that operation?

Best,
Thanet, AdWords API Team

Hello Thanet,
thanks a lot for your hint which really helped me a lot in finding out where the AWAITING_FILE status problem came from.
After further debugging I successfully uploaded some batchjobs which proves your point that I did a mistake in the upload operation.

Thanks a lot and sorry for the inconvenience
Regards,
Stefan
