to AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
We are using Google Ads for user acquisitions, and we want to get (campaign, ad group, creative, impressions, cost, install, ....) data using API.

Then I saw that 'Google Adwords API' will be replaced by 'Google Ads API'. But Google Ads API document webpage is not accessible now!

1. Can I get (campaign, ad group, creative, cost, install, ...) data using Ads API or Adwords API?
2. When will Google Ads API will be available? I want to use Ads API rather than Adwords API. because it will be replaced (maybe deprecated later?).
3. Or is there other option to get those data? Or maybe Adwords API is enough to get those data?

Thank you
Seungjoon

Hi Seungjoon,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I see that you have three concerns. Below you will find my responses.

1. Can I get (campaign, ad group, creative, cost, install, ...) data using Ads API or Adwords API?
You can use both Ads API and AdWords API to get these data fields by using their corresponding reports.

2. When will Google Ads API will be available? I want to use Ads API rather than Adwords API. because it will be replaced (maybe deprecated later?).
You currently can use Google Ads API Beta. We recommend to continue running production systems using the AdWords API. While Google Ads API is in “beta”, you may use the new API for testing and development work in preparation for future migration. Please keep in mind that during this "beta" phase, there may be breaking changes in the Google Ads API.

3. Or is there other option to get those data? Or maybe Adwords API is enough to get those data?
AdWords API can be used to obtain the data fields you've mentioned above. You can also use Google Ads API if you would like.

4. The webpage is not accessible right now.
I tried accessing this page for Google Ads API and haven't encountered an issue. What error do you encounter with accessing this page? Could you try opening the link in a new Chrome Incognito window?

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thank you,
Bryan, Google Ads API Team
