CriteriaId and other Id's in click_view

Good day!

I have the following question:

we need to find the following ID's and parameters for each click:

• CriteriaId 
• CampaingId
• Date
• CreativeId 
• AdNetworkType1 
• Device 
• Slot 
• Gclid

Previously in v8 API we used ClickPerformanceReport (https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/click-performance-report) and we have no any problems to get these parameters.

In new v9 API it is clear for me how to get 

• Gclid
• Slot
  
• Device
  
• AdNetworkType1
  

Could you explain me, how I can get other attributes:

• CriteriaId 
• CampaingId
• Date
• CreativeId 

for each click? Report ( https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v9/click_view?hl=en#click_view.keyword_info.text ) have no answer on these questions.

Hi Fedor,

Click_view has all these fields. AdGroupAd is creative Id. Criteria Id is split between user list and keyword location targets, ect...  The others are self explanatory. Feel free to get back to us.

Thank you for your reply. 

I understood everything but how to get the same result as we obtain in Criteria Id in ClickPerformanceReport.

Could you explain it in more details?

How to retrieve this data from Click_view and obtain the same results as in ClickPerformanceReport.?

Probably you have some examples how to do it?

According to this migrating guide here suggest that CriteriaId is deprecated.

And you said Criteria Id is split between user list and keyword location targets, ect...

Can you please confirm that ?

Hi everyone,

You can use the click_view.keyword field, this should then return a resource name for the said keyword (ex. customers/{customer_id}/keywordViews/{ad_group_id}~{criterion_id}). The same should then be applicable for other supported criteria when selecting the click_view.campaign_location_target, and the click_view.user_list.

Thanks for information. This really helps.

Can we get details about click_view.user_list same as we get for criteriaID?

I can able to get CriteriaId and CriteriaParameters with click_view.keyword but CLICK_PERFORMANCE_REPORT will to return this information when userlist.

For example 

criteriaID: 90582XXX4063

CriteriaParameters - buserlist::101XXX926

I suggest you try out the report yourself, but the click_view.user_list should be in this format. Let me know how it goes. If you encounter any issues, please provide the complete request and response logs with request ID so we can take a closer look on our end. You may send this information via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.
