Keyword Performance Details

Hi,

We need to fetch the Keyword performance stats as attached in the screenshot. Can someone please help with the query that can fetch them in the most optimal way.

We are not able to fetch the First Page CPC (Estimated first page bid) and also getting gateway timeout error because of the huge volume of data. Please guide as to how can we fetch these.

Hi Shobha, 

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads Forum. 

With regard to your concern, to get the information that you are looking for, you can use the ad_group_criterion report and include ad_group_criterion.position_estimates.first_page_cpc_micros. Also, so that this report will only get the keyword criterion, you can filter the ad_group_criterion.type by KEYWORD enum value. 

As for your question about the optimal way to download this information, I would suggest using the SearchStream as it is typically faster since multiple roundtrips are avoided and reading/writing from disk cache is less of a factor.

We just checked with adgroup_criterion we are not getting the metrics like impressions, cost, clicks, conversions etc which are important for our project. Please let us know what should be done to fetch those.

Moving forward to your concern, you mentioned you are not getting the metrics like impressions, cost, clicks, conversions etc. 

Kindly note that there are no metrics in the ad_group_criterion report. You may use this ad_group_criterion Query Builder where you can see that there are indeed no metrics in this report.

You may use the keyword_view report which has attributed resource ad_group_criterion report. That said, you can use this report's query builder to help you build and validate your query.
