Hi,

I see there was a post on this in 2023:
But I feel that the last response was not talking about the same thing as the post.

As per Sean's screenshot, there should be a way to interact with Asset Group URL rules in Performance Max Campaigns.
I don't see them as an asset group resource field:
It should encode something like:
"URL contains shoes" AND
"URL contains soccer"

Is this available via API?
If not, is it planned for a future version?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Note that it is not possible to add the URL rules to an asset group via the Google Ads API. So, could you elaborate and provide us with your business use case for this feature? This will help us raise a request for it to become available in the Google Ads API.

This message is in relation to case "ref:!00D1U01174p.!5004Q02vENzA:ref" (ADR-00260403)

Thanks,

The use case is similar to what Sean had said in the other email thread:
"I have over 1000+ Asset Groups that will each have their own unique URL rules so it is not really scalable to do each of these one at a time through the UI."

Like Sean, I would also like to interact with URL rules at scale, and going through API is a scalable solution.

Hi,

Kindly note that if the feature is available in the UI, then the API should have the same in most of the scenarios. So please provide us with the relevant screenshots if it's possible in the UI.
