Set Status of a Youtube Campaign

Hello, 

I am trying to change the status of a youtube campaign. But i m getting MUTATE_ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CLIENT error.

Are youtube videos still not supported in CampaignService through API?

Hi Ozgur,

Video campaigns are not supported via the API services but are supported in reports. Therefore, you will not be able to fetch or update Video campaigns via the API. Usually, the error MUTATE_ACTION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_CLIENT is thrown when attempting to modify a campaign that was created using the AdWords Express. In order to troubleshoot further, could you please reply back with your client customer id and complete SOAP logs?

Hello, 

Yes, the video campaigns are still supported only in reports via the API. This applies to the latest version of the API (V201806) as well.
